The “Explore the Great Outdoors in Massachusetts!” Contest aims to recognize exemplary student achievement in visual art through individual and original expression of ideas applying the elements and principles of art.

How to Participate (Entry Guidelines):
Students can participate by submitting a piece of artwork based on the theme of “Outdoor Adventure!”
To be eligible, artwork must:
Administrator: National School Art Collective (“NSAC”)

Who Can Participate:
- Any student actively enrolled in First through Sixth Grade in any public school, private school, or home study program within 20 miles of Natick, Massachusetts
- Student must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national
How to Participate (Entry Guidelines):
Students can participate by submitting a piece of artwork based on the theme of “Outdoor Adventure!”
To be eligible, artwork must:
- Follow the theme “Outdoor Adventure”;
- Be two-dimensional (but may be created using a variety of materials!);
- Include the colors blue and green (but may have other accent colors within the image!);
- Be the student’s own, original work (sourced material must be documented) completed only by the student;
- Fit within either 8x10 or 11x14 aspect ratios; and landscape or portrait
- Be signed on the front by the student.
Limit one (1) entry per student.
Submission Deadline: AUGUST 1st, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST.

Winner Selection and Notification:
Artwork will be judged by representatives from the NSAC and A&F using the following criteria:
Winners will be notified by email on or around August 10th, 2018 at the email address entered at the time of Entry submission. The gift card prize will be delivered to the address you entered at the time of Entry submission. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and fees which may be associated with this gift card prize.
Disqualification:
Please note, certain subjects are considered unacceptable for the Contest, and Entries depicting these subjects will be disqualified from the judging process. The subjects include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Grant of Rights:
Applicant grants NSAC and A&F the royalty free, irrevocable, unrestricted, perpetual, worldwide right and license (but not the obligation) to use, edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, publish, and display the Entry, and Applicant’s name, image, likeness, and/or school in connection therewith, for the purposes of marketing and promoting the A&F and/or NSAC brands in any and all media now known or hereafter devised including, without limitation, any digital and/or online uses (e.g., web, social media, paid media), print marketing (e.g., magazines), and point of sale uses (e.g., in-store displays, signage). Applicant understands that the Prize will be Applicant’s sole compensation for NSAC and/or A&F’s use of the Entry and Applicant waives any right to inspect or approve the Entry or related materials in or on which the Entry is incorporated or used. Applicant further waives any “moral rights” or other rights with respect to attribution of authorship or integrity of materials regarding the Entry that Applicant may have under any applicable law.
Warranties
By entering this contest, Applicant warrants and represents that all artwork Applicant submits is Applicant’s own original work, does not infringe upon any copyright, invade any right of privacy, contain any defamatory, libelous or slanderous material, or violate any other right of any person or entity, and is not otherwise contrary to law.
No Liability/Release
By entering, the Applicant agrees to fully and irrevocably release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless NSAC and A&F and their respective agents, representatives, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims related to or in connection with (a) the operation of this Contest or breach of the representations and warranties Applicant has made herein; (b) any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Contest; (c) NSAC and/or A&F’s use of Applicant’s Entry in accordance with this Agreement; and (d) invasion of privacy, right of publicity, moral rights, copyright or trademark infringement, defamation, libel, or any other cause of action arising from or related to this Agreement. While it involves interaction with social media platforms, this Contest is in no way endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform. Applicant understands that Applicant is providing information to NSAC and A&F and not to social media platforms. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this Contest should be addressed to NSAC or A&F and not to social media platforms. Any information collected by participating in this Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Contest Terms and with A&F’s privacy policy

- Satanic or violent art; and
